About Dave Bryan

Dedicated to Preserving the Classical Principles of Joseph Pilates

Dave C. Bryan is a Certified Master Pilates Instructor with over 30 years of experience, trained under the legendary Romana Kryzanowska and certified by Melinda Bryan at Performing Arts Physical Therapy in California. With a deep commitment to upholding the classical Pilates method, Dave is not just a teacher—he is a teacher of teachers, shaping the next generation of highly skilled, classically trained Pilates instructors.

Now residing in Central Florida, Dave has worked with elite athletes, Hollywood actors, and top professionals, including Reese Witherspoon, Jodie Foster, Barry Gordy, Monica Seles, Leonardo DiCaprio, and the Washington Nationals Baseball Team. His expertise has made a lasting impact on the Pilates community, particularly in Florida, where he has played a pivotal role in training and certifying the majority of the region’s most qualified instructors.

As the former co-owner of the first-ever Pilates studio in Brevard County, Dave has been at the forefront of growing the Pilates industry in Central Florida. He currently owns and operates Pilates On Fifth and is the founder of Dave Bryan Pilates—A School of Classical Pilates, dedicated to providing rigorous, authentic training based on the original work of Joseph Pilates.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dave is an active community leader and youth mentor, passionate about creating environments that foster physical, spiritual, and emotional growth. With the successful expansion of Pilates On Fifth to a second location in Suntree/Viera in June 2024, Dave continues to build a legacy of excellence. Plans are already underway for a third location in Vero, further extending his vision for classical Pilates education and training.
